Teenagers who are victims of neglect, bullying, crime, family violence and sexual exploitation are more likely to self-harm and have suicidal thoughts, a study from King's College London finds.

Adolescent victimisation and self-injury - is published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

For her first public appearance since she discussed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's alleged sexual misconduct, Christine Blasey Ford presented an award to the first woman who came forward to accuse former sports doctor Larry Nassar of sexual assault.

Ford introduced Rachael Denhollander, 34, in a video message before the lawyer and former gymnast was presented with the Sports Illustrated’s Inspiration of the Year award.

New York doctor may have abused more than 1,000 victims over 40 years

Patients and relatives of those treated at a famous research hospital in New York want to know why Rockefeller University stayed quiet about a prominent doctor who died 11 years ago and is believed to have abused children for decades.

Attorneys representing those individuals now say there may be over 1,000 victims in what may be the largest case of sexual abuse by one person in U.S. history. He is one of thousands of former patients who saw Dr. Reginald Archibald as a child at the prestigious Rockefeller Institute in New York City.

Argentina: two ex-Ford executives convicted in torture case

An Argentinian court has convicted two former executives of a local Ford Motor Co plant of involvement in the abduction and torture of company workers during the country’s 1976-1983 dictatorship, lawyers representing the victims said on Tuesday.

Therefore, there is a direct responsibility of Ford Motor Company and that might give us the possibility to bring the case to the US courts,” he said.
