Disney Plus streaming site will not offer 'racist' Song of the South film

However, there will be a notable absence from Disney Plus: the 1946 film Song of the South, which has long been a controversial title for Disney because of how it depicts the lives of African-American plantation workers in the southern states after the civil war.

When Disney’s streaming site launches in the US in November this year, fans will be able to watch the Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian and classic films.

Stampede of ostrich memes mocks Cuba's government

Memes replacing Mr García Frías' visage with that of an ostrich, or including the ostrich, and the crocodile and the jutía, in some of Cuba's best known revolutionary propaganda slogans and images, have flourished across social media.

Another dissident website, 14yMedio, run by anti-government blogger Yoani Sánchez, described the stampede of ostrich memes and parodies as a "political weapon against the [government] power in Cuba".
