Pakistan failing to provide millions of girls with an education, report says


“The Pakistan government’s failure to educate children is having a devastating impact on millions of girls,” said Liesl Gerntholtz, women’s rights director at HRW. “Many of the girls we interviewed are desperate to study, but instead are growing up without the education that would help them have options for their future.” The Pakistan government has acknowledged a persistent “under investment” by the state, leading to “a poor quality of education for those who are fortunate enough to get enrolled and no education for the rest”, the report said.

With both user experiences and data on convenience, cost and reliability, the rankings offer perhaps the most comprehensive evaluation of U.S. airports. The rankings were limited to the 20 largest airports to provide fair comparisons at airports dealing with the complexity of tens of millions of passengers.

In hopes of solving a double homicide case, a judge is turning to Amazon’s Alexa, who may have captured the chilling moment two women died in a New Hampshire home.

Amazon’s Echo speaker with the Alexa voice assistant was reportedly on the kitchen counter when Sullivan was killed and may have picked up what happened before and after her death. Although police seized the Echo when they investigated the crime scene, any recordings are stored on Amazon servers.
