Student survivors of the massacre at a Florida high school last week lashed out at President Donald Trump and politicians who take donations from the NRA over the weekend, and announced a nationwide march for gun control next month.

The students said they are starting a movement to target lawmakers who oppose gun-control legislation in the midterm elections. “I don’t think we need them anymore, because they are going to be gone by the midterm election,” Gonzalez said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

Outside NRA headquarters, hundreds gather in vigil and protest

Gillian Beard shivered and cried outside of the National Rifle Association headquarters Friday night as she stood among strangers and mourned the killing of her best friend, one of the 17 victims gunned down this week at a Parkland, Fla. high school.

Instead, she joined about 300 people who gathered outside the NRA building to pay homage to the victims and to demand a change in the influence they said the gun lobby has on Congress and state legislators to prevent passage of gun-control measures.
