NFL 'nearer than ever' to permanent London team, exec says

The league kicks off its 2018 International Series on Sunday when the Seattle Seahawks face the Oakland Raiders at Wembley Stadium in London, in the first of three games the NFL will play in the U.K. this season.

Waller told FOX Business in 2017 that the NFL aims to eventually host a full state of eight games in London each year, or the equivalent of a permanent team’s full home schedule. Shahid Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, is attempting to buy Wembley Stadium to establish a permanent foothold in the region.

In fact, a clear majority in every region across Canada doesn’t think the federal government should seriously consider legalizing all drugs, according to a poll conducted by Ipsos on behalf of Global News.

Just because adults can now possess and consume marijuana in certain amounts without facing jail time doesn’t mean that most Canadians are ready to see other drugs legalized, too. In fact, a clear majority in every region across Canada doesn’t think the federal government should seriously consider legalizing all drugs, according to a poll conducted by Ipsos on behalf of Global News.

America is one step closer to a government-backed account and debit card for college students

This month, the Department of Education’s office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) released a request for applications from companies interested in participating in a pilot program offering students an account, card and other services co-branded with FSA.

Students and schools participating in the pilot program would have those funds put into an FSA co-branded account with a card and app attached. Right now, when a school receives student-loan dollars on behalf of a student in excess of tuition and fees, the school distributes that money to students in a variety of ways, including on prepaid debit cards and through manual checks.
