Current owner Patrice Tarsey purchased the chateau, which was built for Colleen Knapp, whose family founded Architectural Digest, in 1992 for an undisclosed amount, public records show. Ms. Tarsey is a real estate heiress, whose father Jason Tarsey owned the Dunes Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, according to The Wall Street Journal.
