Broadcom’s meddling with Qualcomm could disrupt critical 5G cellular transition

Tuesday 13:37 GMT

With the schedule of 5G cellular roll out accelerated by more than a year into 2019, thanks to cooperation of key players like Qualcomm and the 3GPP standards body, wide-scale 5G could be delayed to 2020 or longer.

UK blames Russia for cyber attack, says won't tolerate disruption

Friday 08:07 GMT

“The decision to publicly attribute this incident underlines the fact that the UK and its allies will not tolerate malicious cyber activity,” the ministry said in a statement. Britain’s foreign ministry said the attack originated from the Russian military.

But even as the disinformation campaign from two years ago finally came into focus, it was far from clear how to prevent future bids to distort American politics.
