Hillary Clinton vehemently denied in a recent interview that her husband’s extramarital affair with then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky was an abuse of power and added that former President Bill Clinton was right not to resign amid a scandal that led to his impeachment on perjury and obstruction charges.

Hillary Clinton, who went on to be elected to the Senate and served as President Obama’s secretary of state, said the relationship was not an abuse of power because Lewinsky “was an adult.”

#MeToo rattles Indian government as minister is accused of sexual harassment

A film depicting Polish clerics as corrupt, drunken fornicators and paedophiles is smashing box office records in Poland, sparking controversy and encouraging hundreds of people to come forward with allegations of recent and historical abuse.

“A majority of hierarchs and lay people [in the church in Poland] are still under the illusion that we don’t have a genuine problem,” Zbigniew Nosowski, the editor of Wi??, a Catholic quarterly, told the liberal broadsheet Gazeta Wyborcza.

An investigation into suspicions of match-fixing in a Champions League match between Paris St Germain and Serbian club Red Star Belgrade is underway, according to the French financial prosecutor's office. French sports newspaper L'Equipe published an article on its website on Friday claiming that European football's governing body UEFA had alerted French authorities to possible match-fixing in the October 3 fixture, based on a tip from a "credible" informant.
