Octomom says manager forced her into porn, fertility doctor lied to her

Nadya Suleman, known to the world as "Octomom," doesn't appreciate the moniker — and sees herself as "a classic victim" of the media, of her doctors and of her management team, Suleman said in a new interview.

Suleman's doctor, Michael Kamrava, who worked with her on her six pregnancies prior to "the eight," has since lost his medical license and left the United States. Suleman alleged that she only wanted twins and that Kamrava convinced her to implant the extra embryos when she was high on narcotics and strapped to a gurney.

Canada’s largest business group has endorsed a carbon tax as the most efficient way for the country to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

In a report released Thursday, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce says there is general consensus in Canada that something needs to be done about climate change, and the debate should not be about if, but how that happens. Yellow vest protesters come out across Canada inspired by French movement. Aaron Henry, the chamber’s director of natural resources and environmental policy, said the businesses that make up its membership agree a carbon price is the most efficient way to do it.

Lamar Alexander (R., Tenn.) said Monday he would not run for re-election in 2020 and would step down after three terms in the Senate, where he has cut bipartisan deals with Democrats on issues including education and health care.

Mr. Alexander and Sen. Patty Murray of Washington, the top Democrat on the health and education panel, brokered a rewrite of No Child Left Behind, the contentious 2001 education law.
